Tottenham Hotspur may struggle to sign Emmanuel Adebayor on a permanent deal.

The Togo international has been in sensational form for the Londoners this season, following his loan switch from Premier League rivals Manchester City.

Harry Redknapp would love to take Adebayor on a permanent basis, but the White Hart Lane club are likely to struggle to afford his signature.

It is thought the Blues want £17million to release the 27-year-old former Arsenal ace, who would also command a weekly salary of £140,000.
