Jon Walters has shrugged off reports linking him with Wigan Athletic Football Club.

According to reports the Latics are set to move for the Ipswich Town player in January, but the 24-year-old insists he is in no rush to leave Portman Road just yet.

"I have heard all about the media stuff but I've not been interested in it, to be honest," Walters told the club's official website. "The facts are I have not asked for a transfer.

“I'm very happy at Ipswich Town. I've certainly not asked for a move. I do want to play in the Premier League and hopefully I will do so with Ipswich Town."
