Everton Football Club are set to make a play for Peter Odemwingie.
The Nigerian international enjoyed a fine debut season for West Bromwich Albion, with his fifteen goals helping them retain their Premier League status.
Odemwingie was rewarded with a new contract with the Baggies, but he has failed to find his best form this season much to the displeasure of Roy Hodgson.
“I’m frustrated because we’ve got nothing from him this year,” the Albion boss told the Express & Star. “It’s been one problem after another.”
The 30-year-old has been hindered by a knee injury of late, but this doesn’t appear to have prevented David Moyes from taking an interest.
It is believed the Toffees manager is keen to take a punt on the former Lokomotiv Moscow man, and could offer a fee of around £4million for his signature in January.
