Mata insists Chelsea are united
03:30 PM 29 November, 2011
Juan Mata insists the Chelsea Football Club squad is behind Andre Villas-Boas.

The Blues have endured a run of difficult results of late, which only came to an end when they beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-0 on Saturday.

Coach Villas-Boas, just 34, has come in for some sharp criticism during the barren run, but Spanish playmaker Mata insists the whole squad is behind the Portuguese.

"It's never easy to have negative results, but we all have a lot of faith in ourselves as a team. We have a lot of faith in our coach and in the quality of the squad," he said.

"We had a team meeting last week simply to reiterate that we are all together and that we are heading in the same direction. The group has always been very united.”
