Everton Football Club are set to make a move for Federico Macheda.

The Italian youngster burst onto the scene at Manchester United towards the end of the 2008/09 season, when he scored some vital goals on the way to their eighteenth title.

Since then Macheda has found first team opportunities hard to come by, and he admits he would consider joining another Premier League side on loan during the winter.

“We have opportunities,” he told tuttomercatoweb. "I would like to play in England. There are proposals from the Premier League, we are evaluating them and we'll make our choices when the time comes."

David Moyes recently admitted he is desperate for more firepower at Goodison Park, and he is expected to make a move for the 20-year-old when the window reopens.
