On-loan Sheffield United midfielder Lee Hendrie is wanted for longer by Simon Grayson.

Hendrie's loan spell from the Blades expires at the end of the year and he is suspended for 'Pool's next three games after receiving a red card against Reading.

"We'll assess the situation and see what Lee wants to do," Grayson told the Blackpool Gazette.

"We need to speak to Sheffield United as well and get their views because he is their player but I am hopeful that it might be something that we are able to extend."
