Harewood has Nottingham Forest chance
Marlon Harewood has the chance to earn an emotional return to Nottingham Forest.
The 32-year-old striker started his career at the City Ground, scoring 51 goals in 181 league appearances before leaving for West Ham United in 2003.
Harewood has been plying his trade in China with Guangzhou R&F of late, but his contract is set to expire in January and he is now training with Forest in the hope of earning a permanent deal.
“Marlon is without a club at the moment so we have invited him to train with us, which will allow us to have a good look at him,” Reds boss Steve Cotterill told the official club site.
