Chris Coleman has spoken of possible ins and outs at the Ricoh Arena
Coleman was speaking to the Coventry Evening Telegraph and said of a possible return to the Sky Blues of Birmingham City striker Gary McSheffrey, "We’ve been linked with McSheffrey for a while but I can’t say there’s any truth to stories that Jay (Tabb) is going to Birmingham and Gary coming this way."
"Whether that happens in the future I don’t know. Gary is a Coventry boy and he’s not playing for Birmingham at the moment and I won’t deny he’s a player I like, because I do."
Tabb is out of contract at the end of the season and Coleman is hoping he stays.
"Tabbsy is a player we want to keep at the club – that’s obvious because he’s been doing very well for us – but he’s not agreed a contract.
"I’m reluctant to talk to Jay now because we’ve got a lot of games coming up and we want him to concentrate on his football. Anyway, he’s not the kind of boy to come in and start talking about a contract – he’ll leave that to his agent and the chairman."
