Jack Rodwell has again been linked with Manchester United Football Club.

It is widely accepted that the Reds need to bolster their midfielder options, an opinion held before Darren Fletcher’s was ruled out for the foreseeable future.

Sir Alex Ferguson has long been an admirer of 20-year-old Rodwell, who already has two full international caps to his name for England having debuted earlier this year.

It is believed the United manager could offer as much as £20million for the youngster, and such a fee may well be difficult for Everton to turn their back on.
