Alex is being tipped to join Juventus during the January window.

The Italian giants were keen on the Brazilian international during the summer window, but were unable to agree a fee with Chelsea for his signature.

Alex has since had a transfer request accepted by Andre Villas-Boas, and it now looks certain that the defender will leave Stamford Bridge in the New Year.

Reports in Italy claim the Bianconeri remain firmly in the hunt for the 29-year-old, with a fee of around £5million expected to be enough to clinch his signature.
