Bournemouth end interest in Ritchie
Bournemouth Football Club have ended their interest in Matt Ritchie.
The League One club have made the 22-year-old a top target ahead of the January window, and had recently tabled an offer of £500,000 in a bid to secure his signature.
However, Swindon Town rejected this bid for Ritchie, and now the Cherries have revealed they have no option but to end their interest in signing the striker.
“After having our latest bid rejected by Swindon Town that it's now time to draw a line under that one and move on,” board member Tom Mitchell told the official club site.
"We also felt it was best to disclose the details of the bid to stop the constant speculation being published that hampers our efforts on a daily basis."
