Manchester United have not agreed a deal to sign Rasmus Elm, insists his agent.

The Premier League champions have been heavily linked with a move for the Sweden international, who is currently plying his trade in Holland with AZ Alkmaar.

Indeed, some reports claim a deal has already been agreed for the signing of Elm in January, but the agent of the 23-year-old midfielder has wasted little time in quashing such suggestions.

"I don't comment on specific rumours but suggestions he has already agreed to join a club are not correct," Patrick Moerk told Expressen. “He is very happy at AZ and not desperate to move to another club."
