Grant Basey has joined Wycombe Wanderers Football Club on a permanent basis.

The 23-year-old has impressed during a loan spell from Peterborough United, and the defender has now signed a permanent deal with the Chairboys.

"Grant has done extremely well since he joined us and I am delighted that he has agreed to stay," Wycombe boss Gary Waddock told the club's official website.

Basey, who has started ten times for the League One strugglers, has penned an eighteen month contract after the two clubs agreed a deal for his signature.
