Chelsea Football Club are finally set to complete the purchase of Gary Cahill.

The Blues had an offer accepted for the England international earlier this month, as he entered the final six months of his contract at Bolton Wanderers.

However, the 26-year-old has continued to feature for the Whites as he struggled to agree personal terms, although he was left out of their FA Cup third round tie so to not cup-tie him.

It is now being reported that Cahill has agreed a four-and-a-half year deal at Stamford Bridge, and the move should be finalised this weekend when he comes through a medical.
