Everton Football Club are believed to have registered an interest in Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgian international was a big-money signing for Chelsea during the summer, and he is being billed as Didier Drogba’s eventual successor at Stamford Bridge.

However, Lukaku has yet to be given a Premier League start for the Blues, having made just three substitute appearances, and he could spend next season on loan.

It is believed David Moyes has made the 18-year-old a target for his Toffees squad, and has already made tentative enquires about taking the striker next term.
