Rhys Williams is under consideration at Liverpool Football Club.

The Australian international has enjoyed an impressive season for Middlesbrough, and is sure to play a big part in their bid to secure promotion to the Premier League.

It is believed Kenny Dalglish has added the versatile 23-year-old to his list of potential additions at Anfield, and could make an offer during the January window.

However, Williams is under contract at the Riverside Stadium until 2013, and only a sizeable bid would persuade Tony Mowbray to release him this month.
