Scholes ignoring Manchester City results
Paul Scholes insists he is bothering himself only with Manchester United’s results in the title race.
The Reds beat Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon, just after Manchester City scored a stoppage time penalty to beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-2.
Although this allowed the Blues to maintain their three-point advantage at the top of the table, Scholes insists he is not wasting time focusing on what the neighbours are doing.
“Obviously City are going well at the minute but we are only three points behind,” he told Sky Sports. "We just have to make sure we look after ourselves and get the right results."
