Clint Dempsey has no plans to quit Fulham Football Club in January.

Former Cottagers boss Mark Hughes was installed as the new manager at Queens Park Rangers earlier this month, and he has set his sights on a reunion with Dempsey.

The United States international has been in terrific form this season, and it has been suggested the Loftus Road club are lining up a £5million bid.

However, it is understood that Dempsey has no plans to quit Craven Cottage during the January window, especially to a side below his current club in the standings.
