Johnny Heitinga has been linked with a move to Real Mallorca.

The Holland international has been at Everton since his £6million transfer from Atletico Madrid in 2009, and he remains under contract until 2014.

Heitinga has often been linked with an exit from Goodison Park as the Toffees struggle to keep up with the Premier League pacesetters, although he has always maintained he is happy.

However, an opportunity to return to Spain could soon be presented to the 27-year-old defender, with reports suggesting Mallorca are prepared to pay £5million for him.
