Everton Football Club are interested in Kevin Doyle.

The Republic of Ireland international is no longer considered an automatic starter at Wolverhampton Wanderers, and has started just one of the last six Premier League matches.

Whilst Mick McCarthy still values Doyle and sees him as a key member of his first team squad, reports suggest David Moyes is lining up a move for the 28-year-old.

The Toffees manager is desperate for more firepower during the second half of the season, and he may try and tempt the Molineux club to sell the former Reading star for around £5million.
