Mark Hughes has revealed Queens Park Rangers have scrapped their interest in Christopher Samba.
The recently installed Loftus Road boss has been keen to return to one of his former clubs, Blackburn Rovers, to take the defender he signed for the Ewood Park club back in 2007.
However, after having one bid rejected for Samba, Hughes has revealed he will not be making a fresh bid to lure the 27-year-old to the capital this month.
"Unfortunately I don't give you many clues but I will try and steer you in the right direction: maybe [thinking we will sign Samba] is the wrong direction to go,” he said.
