Scott accepts Rotherham United flack
09:30 AM 03 February, 2012
Andy Scott is prepared to accept criticism from Rotherham United Football Club fans.

The Millers were expecting to launch a bid for promotion this season, but with 27 games played they are in the bottom half of the table and 13 points off the play-off positions.

Having lost three successive matches the supporters have been getting on the back of Scott, but the 39-year-old insists he can accept it whilst his League Two side are performing so poorly.

"The results hurt more than the criticism. When you lose you are going to get criticism," he said. "I am not expecting everyone to pat me on the back because people are passionate about their club.

"Some people get angry and don't look at the facts of how we have performed. Criticism is something you have to deal with, I'd rather take it than the players so they can concentrate on their game."
