Shaun Brisley is a target for Peterborough United Football Club.

The 21-year-old defender is currently plying his trade in League Two with Macclesfield Town, who hold his registration until the end of next season.

However, according to skysports.com, Posh want to take him on loan for the rest of the season, with the view to making the deal permanent in the summer.

Brisley has been a key figure at Moss Lane since 2008 and has been an ever-present this season, but Macc are prepared to let him leave if it means him climbing the ladder.
