Crewe Alexandra are hoping of extending the loan stay of Greg Pearson.

The striker is on loan at Gresty Road from League Two rivals Burton Albion, and he has scored two goals in two starts and one substitute appearance for his temporary club.

However, Pearson is due back at his parent club on 20 February, but Alex manager Steve Davis is confident he can persuade the Brewers to extend the agreement.

“We would like to keep Greg and I think he is keen to stay here as well,” he told the official club website. "He has enjoyed it and hopefully we can extend his loan.”
