Matthew Saunders has joined Dagenham & Redbridge Football Club on a free transfer.
The midfielder was released by Premier League side Fulham at the end of last season, and he has since been on the lookout for a new club.
Saunders has now been given the chance to get his career back with League Two side Dagenham, who have handed him an 18-month contract.
“Matt Saunders is a player who we wanted to sign at the start of the season, he trained with us in pre-season but unfortunately picked up an injury,” said Daggers boss John Still.
"He's now fully fit, he's an all-action midfield player who can pass, move, get around the pitch and I think he'll be a good addition. He's a young player with great potential."
