Sebastien Bassong is relishing the challenge at Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.
The Cameroon international has swapped sitting on the bench at Tottenham Hotspur for a regular place for Wolves, who are once more involved in a relegation fight.
Speaking before the damaging 5-1 home loss to West Bromwich Albion on Sunday afternoon, Bassong insists he is prepared for the battle to keep Premier League football at Molineux.
“I've been in this situation before with Newcastle United and with my team [Metz] in France. For me, it's another exciting challenge,” he told Sky Sports. “I have pride and I want to show people I can play."
