Ross Wallace would consider a permanent move to Preston North End Football Club.

The 23-year-old is out of favour at Sunderland and is on a season-long loan deal at Deepdale, and he admits he would be interested in a permanent move to the Lancashire club.

"Sunderland can call me back in January and we will see from there really," Wallace told Preston's official website. "Hopefully we can get something sorted in January and we will take it from there.

"Sunderland have got the opportunity to bring me back and Preston have got the opportunity to buy me in January. Hopefully the two clubs can come to some sort of agreement.

"I am enjoying it here and playing in games and we have got a half-decent team."
