Toffees kid stays at Brentford
10:30 AM 17 February, 2012
Jake Bidwell has extended his loan spell at Brentford Football Club.

The 18-year-old left parent club Everton in November in a youth loan deal, and he has gone on to make eight league appearances for the League One outfit.

Bees manager Uwe Rosler, a former Manchester City striker, has clearly been impressed with Bidwell, who has extended his stay at Griffin Park until March 20.

“We are delighted to get the news that we can extend Jake's loan for another month,” Rosler told the official club site. "He’s probably our most consistent performer in the back four in recent weeks.

“I can only take my hat off to him for the level of performance he has delivered. I believe Everton see he is in good hands and that is why they decided to allow him to stay."
