Riccardo Montolivo remains an option for Arsenal Football Club.

The Italian international is currently plying his trade with Fiorentina, but with his contract set to expire in the summer, he has been linked with a move to the Gunners.

And having denied reports that he has already agreed to join Milan, the 27-year-old playmaker remains an option should Arsene Wenger pursue an interest in him.

"At the end of the season I will very likely leave Florence, albeit with great disappointment," Montolivo said. "There has not been any offer from Milan, so I don't know what my future will be."
