Watford Football Club have signed Tomasz Kuszczak on loan.

The Polish international has slipped to fourth choice goalkeeper at Manchester United, behind David De Gea, Anders Lindegaard and even youngster Ben Amos.

This is a huge blow to the former West Bromwich Albion man, who had set his sights on the number one jersey following the retirement of Edwin van der Sar last season.

Kuszcak has now left Old Trafford on a temporary basis to link up with Championship side Watford, who have secured his services on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
