Walter Smith has confirmed he has snubbed the Wolverhampton Wanderers job.
The Premier League strugglers sacked Mick McCarthy at the start of last week, and despite being linked with a number of names, they have failed to appoint a successor.
Former Rangers boss Smith is the latest to have been offered the chance to keep Wolves in the top-flight, but the 63-year-old has revealed he has rejected the move to Molineux.
“It's true I'm not going (to Wolves),” he told Express & Star. "I was totally unsure whether I really wanted to do it or not. It was a purely personal thing, nothing to do with Wolves.”
