Lionel Messi believes Sergio Aguero would enjoy himself at Real Madrid.

The Argentine left Atletico Madrid for Manchester City in a big-money summer transfer, and he has been a huge success as the Blues chase a first league title since 1968.

Diego Maradona, who is the 23-year-old’s father in law, upset the Etihad Stadium club recently, when urging the striker to seek a move to the Bernabeu.

And now Barcelona star Messi has stirred the mischief further, by revealing his opinion that his compatriot would enjoy himself if he did move to Real.

“If he goes to Real Madrid I am sure it will give him much joy. If it's the best thing for him, I will be very happy, because of our friendship,” he told Radio 9.
