Aston Villa Football Club are set to move for Joe Lewis in the summer.

Republic of Ireland international Shay Given is the undisputed number one choice goalkeeper at Villa Park, with Brad Guzan providing cover.

However, the latter is out of contract at the end of the season, and he is widely expected to quit the Midlands in search of regular first team action.

Lewis, 24, is in a similar contractual situation at Peterborough United, and the Sunday Mirror claims Villa will offer him a move to the Premier League in the summer.
