Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have lined up Glen Johnson for White Hart Lane.

Harry Redknapp has been busy drawing up a list of targets for the New Year transfer window, and it comes as no surprise that he plans to raid former club Portsmouth.

It is believed that the Spurs manager has asked his board to sign fullback Johnson from the South Coast club, with the former Pompey boss describing him as a ‘Rolls Royce’ defender.

However, Tony Adams will be hugely reluctant to lose the 24-year-old, and even an offer of £8million is unlikely to persuade him to sell the former West Ham United and Chelsea man.
