Carlos Tevez could be back in Manchester City’s side next week.

After apologising for his early season behaviour, the Argentine has returned to first team contention as the Blues look to get their title bid back on track.

Tevez has been working to a specialised programme in an attempt to get him back to full fitness, and he could now line up against Chelsea next week.

Asked if the 28-year-old could make that game, Roberto Mancini said: "We will see in the next week. It depends on Carlos. If Carlos is okay, then probably.”
