Swansea City Football Club are yet to open talks about signing Gylfi Sigurdsson permanently.
The Iceland international joined the Swans on loan for the rest of the season in January, and he has struck five goals in nine appearances for the Liberty Stadium side.
Manager Brendan Rodgers would naturally like to take Sigurdsson permanently, but he insists he has yet to discuss the matter with Hoffenheim.
"He is still a Hoffenheim player,” he said. "He has had a wonderful effect and I know he thoroughly enjoys it here, but we have been unable to sit down and discuss anything.
“So until that happens then the situation remains the same. He is a loan player who is benefiting from playing with a wonderful group of players and we are benefiting from him.
"We can see he fits perfectly into our style and we complement each other well but we will see what happens between now and the end of the season."
