Jos Hooiveld insists there will be no complacency at Southampton Football Club.
The Saints have opened up a five-point lead at the top of the Championship table, having now gone eleven matches without tasting defeat.
But whilst the St Mary’s side are the red hot favourites to climb up to the Premier League, Hooiveld is refusing to take anything for granted.
"It's a long way to go and if you have a bad spell you could drop three or four places, it's so close but it's nice to be on top where everybody wants to be,” he said.
"When you're top it always looks favourable but I remember when West Ham United were five points clear and that looked favourable so anything can happen."
