Fulham look certain to miss out on Lucas Barrios in the summer.

Martin Jol was keen to sign the Paraguayan international during the winter, but was unable to reach an agreement with Borussia Dortmund for his signature.

The Cottagers boss has been tipped to return for the 27-year-old when the window reopens, but reports in Germany would suggest he will again miss out.

According to Bild, Barrios has agreed to join Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande at the end of the season, after they met his release clause of €12million.
