Michael Liddle will see the season out at Accrington Stanley Football Club.

The Sunderland defender joined the League Two club in February on a month long loan deal, and he made four appearances before being sent off.

Liddle has been suspended for the past three games, but he will have plenty of time to add to his tally after his loan deal was extended until the end of the campaign.
