Roberto Di Matteo expects Raul Meireles to stay at Chelsea Football Club.

The Portugal international only joined the Stamford Bridge club last summer, but after a fairly unspectacular season, he has been linked with a move away from the club.

Juventus are thought to be willing to pay £11million for the former Liverpool midfielder, but temporary Blues boss Di Matteo expects Meireles to stay.

"I think it's the time of the year when the season ends and speculation and rumours start,” he said. "They are all Chelsea players and we are confident they will be in the future."
