Gareth Bale admits it would be hard to turn down Barcelona or Real Madrid.

The Tottenham Hotspur winger has emerged as one of the best talents in Europe, and he is thought to be a target for both Spanish giants.

And just as Bale believes Spurs boss Harry Redknapp should accept the England job should it be offered, he admits the lure of La Liga would be difficult to refuse.

“If you are talking about Barcelona or Real Madrid, two of the biggest clubs in the world, then it's a bit like Harry and England, it's a once-in-a-lifetime dream,” he told The Sun.

"If you said to any player that you could play for Barcelona or Real would they turn it down? Probably not. If a bid was accepted you would obviously have to seriously consider it.”
