Roberto Mancini insists Mario Balotelli still has a future at Manchester City.

The City manager last week stated he couldn’t trust his Italian compatriot, and there have been fresh reports that the striker has had bust-ups with colleagues since the weekend.

This has sparked speculation that Balotelli could return to Serie A in the summer, where Milan are thought to be willing to pay around £20million for his signature.

However, when asked if he was about to give up on the 21-year-old, Mancini said: “No. I think he is young and I hope for him he can improve very quickly for his future.”
