Samir Nasri has advised Arsenal Football Club fans to forget about him.

The France international quit the Gunners for Manchester City last summer, and stated that he had a better chance of winning silverware with the Blues.

So the Emirates Stadium crowd were delighted when a Mikel Arteta goal secured three points on Sunday, whilst almost certainly ending City’s title hopes.

However, Nasri insists he still made the right choice to head to the Etihad Stadium, and has advised his former supporters to get over his departure.

"I'm sure I will lift a trophy with Man City before AFC,” he said on Twitter. "And to all the Arsenal fans, move on. City are 10 points ahead of you. Just forget about me."
