Maik Taylor hopes to extend his stay with Millwall Football Club.
The veteran Northern Ireland goalkeeper moved to the Londoners on loan in March, having not made a single appearance for Leeds United since joining them in late 2011.
Taylor has helped the Lions secure another season in the Championship after making seven appearances, and now the 40-year-old hopes to earn an extended deal.
"If staying is an option for me, then I will speak with the manager,” he said. "I'm just grateful for the opportunity and if it goes beyond the season, then it's fantastic.
"I thought I was coming in to put some pressure on the other keeper and the manager has given me an opportunity. Things have gone well, so hopefully that will continue."
