Jonny Hayes has been advised to snub any interest from Celtic Football Club.

The Bhoys are believed to be interested in signing the 24-year-old winger, and reports have suggested they made an enquiry as to his availability in January.

Hayes is out of contract in the summer, but Inverness Caledonian Thistle captain Richie Foran has advised him to remain at the Caledonian Stadium for another year.

"I think one more season for him would be good, but also one more season working under the manager would be beneficial for Jonny as well," he told the Inverness Courier

"I think it would be a good idea for Jonny to stay another year, but he's not a silly boy. He's a clever lad and hopefully he's getting guided by the right people.

“Hopefully he'll make the right decision. I'll be delighted if he stays here, but if not then hopefully he'll go on and have a great career.”
