Milan hope to persuade Manchester City to sell Mario Balotelli on the cheap.

The Italian international has courted much controversy, both on and off the pitch, since joining the Premier League club in the summer of 2010.

Roberto Mancini is rumoured to be considering listening to offers for the 21-year-old in the summer, and the Rossoneri are long-term admirers.

However, according to the Daily Star, the Serie A giants want to take Balotelli for just £12million, which is half the price City paid to lure him from Internazionale.
