Cole in no rush for Liverpool return
Joe Cole would be more than happy to remain at Lille next season.
The England international joined the French club on loan in the summer, having fallen down the pecking order at Liverpool under Kenny Dalglish.
And although Cole has recently lost his place in the starting eleven, he has revealed he would be more than happy to make the move permanent when the window reopens.
"I've not spoken to anyone at Liverpool," the 30-year-old told the Liverpool Echo. "I'm expecting a call from them. I would like to stay here, but it's still too early to say.
“Let's see how Lille finish the season. I am happy here, my family too. I was well received and I love this team. But it's not me who decides. We need to see what the board decides."
