Gylfi Sigurdsson is a key target for Newcastle United Football Club.

The Icelandic international is currently contracted to Hoffenheim, but he has enjoyed a fine loan spell at Swansea City since the New Year.

Sigurdsson’s performances have resulted in a number of clubs being linked with his signature, the latest of which is Newcastle.

According to The Mirror, Alan Pardew has already made discreet enquiries for the 22-year-old midfielder, who would cost a fee of around £8million.
