Guilherme Siqueira has welcomed speculation linking him with Manchester United.

Sir Alex Ferguson is looking to add a new left fullback to his squad in the summer, as he seeks more competition for France international Patrice Evra.

It has been reported that the Reds boss has been keeping tabs on Granada star Siqueira, rated at £9million, who has impressed for the Primera Liga side this season.

The 25-year-old is obviously pleased with the link, and told reporters: “I am very happy with this news. If a good proposition arrives I am open to studying the subject."
