Paolo Di Canio wants to take Swindon Town into the Championship.

The Robins clinched promotion to League One on Saturday despite a loss at Gillingham on Saturday, and can win the title at home to Port Vale next weekend.

Looking further ahead, Di Canio has already set his sights on a successive promotion next season, when he hopes to lead his side into the second-tier of English football.

"What we have done is special. I promised the fans at the start of the season and we have achieved that,” the Swindon boss told the official club website.

"Now I must sit down with the Board and see the plan for the future. The job is half-done and another promotion would be a beautiful story.”
